Patt built our pool in summer of 2008, and it was one of the best contractor experiences I've ever had. From design, to construction, to support in the last three years; everything was first-class.
Our design was a challenge. The site was the side of a mild natural hill with 10-12' of grade change across it. Patt worked with us to accommodate our vision, and the result is unique and beautiful: A 16,000 gallon natural shaped pool with a shallow toddler area, and a large cascading waterfall sloped back from the pool like natural stadium seating. Five small planters are carefully crafted into the design, so the waterfalls don't flood them. We took advantage of the natural elevation change to include a slide in the design too. The rockwork was a high degree of difficulty, but his masons gave us a subtle, natural looking feature which includes many comfortable places to sit (with water cascading down all around you), jumping rocks, and beer holders.
It is a paradise.
Plus he met his completion guarantee. We were swimming in 28 days.
I continue to recommend Liquid Dreams to anyone looking for a pool contractor. It was a positive experience in every way.

Our Family Paradise
We recently had our pool built by Pat with Liquid Dream Pools! We had an amazing experience. His crew was fantastic!!!! It was done in a timely manner and ready for our boys to enjoy within no time. We are always getting compliments on how beautiful and different our pool looks compared to your standard backyard pool. This is our third in-ground pool and by far our best pool. Liquid Dreams Custom Pools and Patt have really contributed to our lifestyle. Our pool went in at the just before Thanksgiving, and thanks to Patt and his extra effort, met our deadline. We had family come down from Minnesota over the Thanksgiving week and we wanted to entertain them in our backyard. We got the spa heated up and put the turkey on our built in outdoor grill provided by Patt. Everything turned out wonderful and the family had a great time. They even jumped from the spa into the pool (pretty cold) and then back into the spa (Minnesotans). So over the winter we used spa consistently, and entertained our friends occasionally. Everyone loves the spa. It is a raised spa done in rock, it has a shelf perfect for sitting on, heats like you would not believe, and has an extra blower that can really hit you deep into the muscles. We are now using the pool and spa since it is starting the warm up. Our routine is for me to come home after work, turn on the spa, do a short workout, and then jump into the pool and spa with the wife. This is where we share our days and make plans for the future. The pool and spa have really centered us on our house and backyard. We no longer want to go out to restaurants, nor sit in front of a mind numbing tv. We are more active, our communication is better, and overall, we are much happer people thanks to our pool and Patt.
Now about the pool. It is as close to maintenance free as I have ever seen. Once a month I remove leaves from the skimmer basket, and we skim the occasional new leaf off the surface of the pool, thats it. Remember this is my third pool and I can tell you there is a huge different in the maintenance of this pool compared to my past pools. Everyone who has seen our pool, spa, outdoor grill, saltwater deck, and backyard haven has just loved it. We have completed around the deck with grass and more plants and we really have a little bit of paradise and seclusion. I have friends, who had completely renovated their pool last year, it is very nice. However, when they saw our pool they wish they had gone with Patt. They can see the quality and professionalism put into our pool. The shape. colors, size, effects, and looks really was made for this backyard and this house. Everything fits. I guess thats what you get when you go custom. I never realized the difference until I could see it first hand. Liquid Dreams Custom Pools really did a wonderful job. When putting in the pool, as always, it is a process. Events always gets in the way, there are sometimes delays, like our tile was late because of the hurricane that hit Houston, but Patt was always accessible and we would have talks sometimes three times a week. I would call him and he always returned my call. He clearly explained what was happening and gave me an idea of what to expect. You have no idea idea how important that is until you are staring at a hole in your backyard. All in all, I had a wonderful experience with Liquid Dreams Custom Pools and Patt. I would gladly use them again.
